CEREC® Dental Crowns
Dental crowns, sometimes called “caps,” perform a vast array of functions. Whether you have a very large cavity, a dental infection, or some other sort of damage, a crown can fully cover your tooth. Accordingly, it will fortify the outer walls of the tooth and restore your oral function. Dr. Gjelaj uses CEREC® technology to take digital impressions of your teeth, which guide computerized tools in creating custom crowns in the span of an appointment.
Inlays and Onlays
Inlays and onlays are sometimes called partial crowns. These restorations cover the chewing surfaces of molars, and can be crafted to also replace one or more cusps (the protruding corners of the chewing surfaces). In this way, they can repair teeth with cavities that are too large for a filling, but do not necessarily warrant a crown. Like crowns, our inlays and onlays are made from modern tooth-colored materials. Porcelain, zirconia, and e.max® materials provide durability and a remarkably lifelike look.
Dental fillings are a conservative treatment for decay, and they are typically the first choice for cavities. Dr. Gjelaj will recommend larger restorations only if your cavity cannot be restored with a filling. At Trinity Dental Arts, we place tooth-colored fillings. These fillings will blend with the tooth for a natural-looking result. It also offers structural advantages, since it will bond more securely with your hard tissues. Finally, in contrast to an amalgam filling, it will not expand and contract in response to temperature variations.
Dental implants are widely recognized as the best treatment for missing teeth. Implants replace your tooth roots and provide the ultimate support for crowns, bridges, and dentures. In addition to providing a stable base for your restoration, implants prevent the bone atrophy that happens after a tooth has been lost. We offer both traditional and immediate-load implant options.
Dr. Gjelaj is a certified provider of TeethXpress® full-mouth dental implant treatment. With this innovative treatment, you will not need to wait for your jaw to heal before you can receive your implant-supported denture. Instead, Dr. Gjelaj can attach your prosthetic on the same day as your implant surgery.
Full Mouth Reconstruction
Full mouth reconstruction is a customized process combining multiple restorative dentistry treatments. If you are suffering from more than one oral health issue, Dr. Gjelaj can create a treatment plan to completely rehabilitate your smile. Full mouth reconstruction can include any restorative procedures, as well as any cosmetic enhancements you wish to achieve. Treatment can also include periodontal care, extractions, bone grafting, or related procedures. After reconstruction is complete, you can experience a beautiful smile, as well as a strong, functional bite.
