Advanced Dental Technology for Precise, Comfortable Care

Dr. Xhoana Gjelaj uses the latest dental technology at her Trinity, FL, practice, allowing her to plan and perform precise, comfortable procedures with exceptional long-term benefits.

With over 2000 hours of continuing education, Dr. Gjelaj understands how to use this sophisticated technology to make your treatment more effective and predictable while maximizing your comfort.

From dental implants and root canals to gum therapy, these advanced tools help Trinity Dental Arts patients experience the benefits of a healthy and beautiful smile.

CEREC® Single-Visit Restorations

CEREC® is an advanced system that allows Dr. Gjelaj to provide custom crowns, bridges, and porcelain veneers in a single visit. After prepping your teeth for treatment, she will use a CAD/CAM scanner to take digital impressions of your teeth. These three-dimensional images will upload to our computer. There, Dr. Gjelaj can manipulate them, designing a custom restoration while you watch. The designs will guide a milling machine, which uses computerized tools to create restorations from single blocks of porcelain. This material will closely match the natural color of your teeth. In the course of an appointment, you can achieve a beautifully restored smile.

Digital Imaging Technology

Our office uses the latest in healthcare digital technology. From low-emission x-rays, to intra-oral photography, and oral cancer screenings, we make sure we use the best tools to accurately and quickly capture information about your health. All patient records are digital and protected by the latest in encryption technology to ensure your privacy.

GALILEOS Cone Beam Scanner

GALILEOS® not only shows 3D displays in perfect image quality, but also enables more complete navigation and diagnosis than the traditional 2D x-ray films.  For our practice, the GALILEOS® 3D Dental Cone Beam solution offers:

  • Low Radiation dose (less than a full mouth series of intraoral film)
  • A quick comprehensive scan of the complete oral-maxillofacial area (14 seconds)
  • Immediate virtual diagnosis and treatment planning in one visit
  • Predictable treatment planning for Dental Implants, Sleep Apnea, and TMD conditions

Fotona LightWalker® Laser

The Fotona LightWalker laser is one of the most versatile dental lasers in use today. The instrument will vaporize excess or infected tissue and eradicate harmful bacteria. At the same time, the laser will seal your blood vessels as it creates incisions, resulting in expediting healing requiring no sutures. Dr. Gjelaj may use the LightWalker® laser to prep your teeth for porcelain veneers, dental crowns, or root canal therapy. She can also use this device to address gum disease or improve the appearance of your gumline.

If you snore excessively, we can use lasers to gently tighten certain tissues in the throat. Afterwards, they will no longer block your airways.

Surgical Suite

Trinity Dental Arts has a full surgical suite where we can perform implant placement, gum surgery, tooth extraction, and more. We follow the most precise safety protocol and use a touch-free sanitation area. As a result, the risk of infection is reduced to an absolute minimum. We are also certified to offer IV sedation and oral conscious sedation to keep you relaxed and comfortable through any procedure.

Dental Laboratory Technology

Our office houses an in-house digital dental lab. This means that we exercise full control over the quality production of fixed or removable restorations. The advanced technology we use in our lab makes for quick turn-around of the most complex cases, so you can get back to doing what you do best.

Velscope Oral Cancer Screenings

Oral cancer screenings are quick, discomfort-free procedures that will take place at every regular visit to our office. After your cleaning and dental exam, Dr. Gjelaj will thoroughly check your soft tissues, looking for lesions or inflammation. Our office uses the state-of-the-art equipment such as the VELscope® system, which can reveal areas of concern that are not visible to the naked eye.

Dr. Gjelaj will also inquire about any symptoms that you may have experienced. Often, sores turn out to be harmless. Alternatively, they may be a symptom of gum disease, which is serious but not immediately life-threatening. Nonetheless, to provide an accurate diagnosis, we will usually we may refer you to a specialist for biopsy.

T-scan Occlusion Analysis

Dr. Gjelaj identifies problematic contact points in your bite and then files or adjusts the tooth structure to a more natural and comfortable height.

T-SCAN (shown nearby) allows us to accurately measure the biting forces for each tooth and precisely adjust.
